The first recorded use of Indigo in English was in the thirteenth century ---having made it's way much earlier in the Greco-Roman era through Old World trade in India.
Indigo was used in 16th Century Italy for denim trousers [yep. denim trousers]
The word jeans comes from the French phrase, 'bleu de Genes'.
Newton made it formal when he identified it in the color spectrum in the mid 1660's.  We read that Indigo stimulates the brain, with a higher level of perception and creativity.
Here's what.  Indigo is masculine, strong and always has our attention.
Our collection offers pieces that have been hand-dyed using the material in it's truest form creating the character and look that we love.
